First Indian Nuclear Submarine INS Arihant will be launched today by PM Manmohan Singh. INS Arihant Nuclear Submarine launch will took place at Visakhapatnam.

Some features of INS Arihant (as per Tv reports) :-

Indian Nuclear Submarine INS Arihant can stay under water for around 100 days.

INS Arihant is operated by nuclear fuel. So its operation is silent and this will prevent opposition radars from detecting the submarine easily.

India's Nuclear submarine can launch missiles upto the range of three hundred kilometer's.

Apart from India Nuclear submarine facility is available for other 5 countries like :-

United States of America,

Britain,

China,

Russia and

France.

With the introduction of Indian Nuclear Submarine INS Arihant, the number of nations owning this feature went up to six.
